Is Taking Alepam 30 At Night To Have Uninterrupted Sleep Is Dangerous?

I have taken 1/2 a tab. of Alepam 30( Oxazepam) daily at night to have a good uninterrupted sleep.. A new doctor now tells me how dangerous the drug is and all it's side effects, which I just read up on the internet. Well, the side effects just about cover Everything.!? Should I worry about my 1/2 tab. a night, having taken it for over 20 years regularly, in the beginning even only 1/4 !

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You was taking 1/2 tablet of Oxazepam30, for good night sleep since 20 years, increased from 1/4.
Now another doctor told you the hezards of the drug and asked to stop it. Naturally after some time you may need to use 1 tablet, then to increase the dose periodically. Other wise you will feel as you didn't take the pill and has to increase the dose.
Any how you had an occasion to discuss this topic, if you are convinced consult a psychologist for diagnosis and treatment.
