Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have problem of blockage in eustachian tube causing tinnitus. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection, head injury, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo certain medications and due to cervical spondylosis, meniere's disease , acoustic neuroma , sinusitis and multiple sclerosis migraines. Need not to worry. You should not touch or prick ears with any sharp object. Maintain hygiene of ears. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper evaluation of the condition . Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan , MRI , blood test , audiometry test, and examination with otoscope. Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drugs along with gentamicin at least for a week , doctor may also recommend vestibular therapy. Yes you can go fo surgery after complete examination.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
