Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

Detail history required to diagnose depression. But in simple terms if your mood is sad or low most of the time of the day since more than two weeks and few other symptoms you have depression.

A type of depression called, atypical depression has some somatic symptoms. Laden paralysis means heavy feeling in legs in one of the symptoms of atypical depression. This type has more relation to neurotransmitter changes. So it is also called biological depression and medicines work really well for treatment of this.

So please go to psychiatrist for detail check up and reach to conclusion to your query.

Hope I have answered your query.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
