Is Sore Throat, Headache, Chest Pain And Abdominal Cramps A Cause For Concern?
Wondering if I need to go to doctor. Woke up with a severely sore throat. Very tender, tight and phlegm-y. My gf said it looks white in the back when she looked. Also have a really bad headache all over the entire head, face and neck and shoulders. It hurts to the touch. Also have chest pain and abdominal cramps
Hello! I have been through your question. Related your concern I think it is a viral situation but I suggest to do a physical examination by a doctor( based on what your gf have seen) to exclude an strep throat or acute tonsillitis (viral or bacterial) and to start the prompt adequate treatment (antibiotic if is bacterial).During this time you should use saline gargle, antiseptic oral, ibuprofen, a lot of water, hot tea as well bed rest and monitoring the fever. I hope my answer helps you. I wish you a quick recovery.
