Hi....I am Ananda Banerjee and a regular smoker. Today morning I had a dog bite by a street dog. Immidiately afyerwards I had a consult with a doctor and have taken a Anti-Rabis injectin (IM). I want to know if my smoking can affect during vaccination period of 28days

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Although there is no evidence of decreased efficacy of vaccine if smokes cigerretes it is better to avoid smoking. It is recommended by most physicians to avoid smoking and drinking as these causes lowering of immunity. Thanks.
