Is Rifaximin Advisable In IBS-C?

Hi, Is rifaximin advisable in IBS-C? If not what is the current thought on its treatment? My symptoms are chronic constipation (last 7 years, flare of hemorrhoids and fissures 3 times during this period as a result, and severe bloating). I am 47 year old woman. Any suggestion will be most welcome. Thanks

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for asking a question
your query being appreciated, IBS is the functional kind of disease and not the pathological changes you need to change the life style and diet to get rid of this even you have to stay away from the stress and anxiety, now for hemorrhoid and anal fissure it can be managed with medical treatment but with that it may not be cured, the only best is surgical treatment, and I would advise for that only hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
