Is Pulse Rate Of 43 A Cause For Concern?

My moms pulse was 43 just 30 minutes ago. She has a history of high blood pressure. But tonight she is very very tired and seems a little out of breath. Is 43 to 45 heart normal at the age of 87. She is not very active. Thxs for your time. Signed very concerned.

Yes, pulse rate of 43 beats per minute is a concern, as she is also hypertensive patient. It indicates her heart rate has dropped due to decreased beats per minute.
Kindly get her evaluated by a nearest medical centre at the earliest for the following and take a Physician's opinion for the same.
1. Recording blood pressure.
2. Electrocardigram (ECG) monitoring.
3. Echocardiogram.
