General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The advanced medical procedures like intrauterine insemination (ISI)gives positive outcome between 10-20% in first attempt in women of your age. It is considered a better procedure for couples who have unexplained infertility or in cases where men have low sperm count.

The procedure is usually less expensive and non invasive compared to IVF. With all the measures taken and the treatment given to you, the chances of conceiving appears to be quite high.

Although, in some women conception does not occur in first attempt of ISI. In that case ISI can be tried for again, or, IVF can be considered.

I can assure you that, many women today are suffering with fertility issues because of PCOS and the advancement in science have given hopes to such women.

Therefore, don't get discouraged if one treatment does not work; stay positive as it is important for women trying to conceive stay stress free to keep healthy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef
