I was suffering a pain for past few days when I taken a ultra sound scan the doctor find out some pleural effusion on the left side , now I am confusion whether its related to cancer or any disturbing disease. In Chennai which is the best hospital to have a treatment for this infection.

Pleural Effussion can be because of many causes.You have to undergo thoracocentesis and send the fluid for investigations along with cytology which would confirm the diagnosis.
