Is Paracetamol Safe To Be Taken During 16 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

My wife is suffering from fever from past 2 days . we consult one Gynaecologist she advice to take paracetamol 650 mg tablets per day 6 tablets is it okay ?she is now 4th month pregnant .she having headache and body pains even back pain also .please advise what to do ? any good medicine for body pains and fever?

Hi dear..yes she can take paracetamol but if possible reduce the dose to 500mg..another alternative is tab ibuprofen but it may cause gastric troubles in some..hope this will help you
