Is Painful Urination A Side Effect Of Narcotic Medicines?

I have been having to urinate it seems about every half effort and it hurts. My urine is clear so I don t think it is an infection. I m wondering if it could be a side of effect of some new supplements I ve started to take. I ve started taking Mild thistle since I take so much narcotic medicine for back and leg pain. I also have upped my magnesium for leg pain. could this be a side effect of these supplements?
