Is Pain And Increased Vaginal Discharge Related To PCOS?

I have PCOS and was diagnosed about a year ago. I still get fairly severe episodes of intermittent pain in the pelvic area and can pin point it more specifically to the location of the ovaries. It can be sharp, achy or dull and comes and goes whenever it feels (not matching my menstrual cycle). It can sometimes be tender just to touch over the area. I was also on the birth control pill (which i have stopped taking now) and had my period 3 times in 1 month, and my periods tend to be quite painful. Before this episode, even with being on the pill, my periods were still irregular. Also when using tampons upon insertion and removal, there is a fairly painful and uncomfortable pressure that is felt. I have also been experiencing an increase in vaginal discharge which is not foul smelling and doesnt look abnormal. Is this all just related to the PCOS or does it raise concern?
