From your history it seems you are suffering from Allergic rhinitis also called seasonal rhinitis. You haven't mentioned about type of surgeries you had. I assume that you developed nasal polyp due to recurrent rhinitis, which blocks your nose while sleeping. Best way is to avoid allergens during prone seasons. I usually discourage the multiple or prolonged use of Otrivin in my patients. When discontinued, it causes rebound rhinitis. I'll advise you to go for intranasal corticosteroids with oral antihistamines like Levocetrizine. Corticosteroid will not cause rebound and will be effective in polyp, if any. But these medicines should be taken after clinical examination and required investigations by a local ENT surgeon.
