Is More Sleep Normal After Hip Replacement Surgery?

Hi,My mum had a hip replacement on Wednesday, it all went well, but she is still feeling very sleepy even while we are speaking to her she will fall asleep, she is 82 years of age, is this comon after surgery, she has had surgery in the passed, but never this sleepy. Thankyou

no need to worry
sometimes it happens but it normalize vary soon
sometimes medications after surgery causes excessive sleeping
but it gradually comes to normal within short period of time
no need to worry
