Is Lumbar Puncture Recommended?

50 year old man with a history of hypertension, smoking,sedentary lifrstyle and poor compliance to meds presents with frontal headaches and a blood pressure of 240/120. The man is nauseous,pale, slightly photophobic. Should i recommend lumbar puncture?

Lumber puncture is not needed , you should also absolutely avoid lumber puncture since any pain stimulus will shoot up his BP.
He is advices to be admitted in hospital.
Doctors have to diagnose the cause of raise BP .
