General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your child might have high risk for epilepsy due to family history. So you can follow the doctor advise to continue it up to three years. Additionally I suggests to investigate with CT scan and EEG investigation for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
