Is It Serious To Get Poked With Insulin Needle At Tip Of Thumb?

Hi, as I finished injected my mother with insulin, the needle poked the tip of my thumb. Is it serious? After being poked, I had a tingling sensation and it felt numb for a while. I washed my finger and pressed the excessive blood already. Should I seek medical attention?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Its not a serious matter at all. If your mother doesn't have any infectious disease (HIV, HBV, HCV), it won't harm you at all.
Regards.
