Is It Safe Using Peppermint Oil During Nursing Period?

hi dr is it safe to use roll on or spray deodrants while nursing ..i saw arecipe for home made deo using peppermint essential oil .. but i read peppermint oil can reduce milk supply and cause breathing problems for the baby... if peppermint oil 5drops only is mixed with coconut oil ,lime juice ,vinegar, bakingsoda is it ok ,,kindly reply

Hello,

Using peppermint oil as a deodorant would not cause any issues with breastfeeding. Make sure the oil does not come in contact with the infant’s mouth.
