Is It Safe To Use Cortisone Instead Of Nystatin Triamcinolone For Itchy Skin?
Hi. My husband is diabetic, everytime we have intercourse I get a yeast infection, his pens always gets red and cuts around the top skin, they have treated him with nystatin triamcinolone before and it works wonders, but he has no health insurance, can cortizone 10 extra strengh feminine itch cream work for him?

I understand your concern.
Cortisone covers allergic itching/ inflammation . It dies not have any effect on fungal infection.( He has fungal infection- can be guessed from the type of infection you have after sexual contact. Again he being disbetic he should not use unjustified cotisone.
In place of female feminine itch cream, he can try Mycostatin/candid/ Multifungin cream.
