Hello Dr, I am Anitha, working as a Staff Nurse in GH. After 8 years of marriage i was tested positive and it
is 24 weeks now. My age is 36. Recently i was diagnoised with asthma even though the symptomps existed
before pregnancy. My Dr advised me to take Deriphyllin 150 SOS. But I am getting cough and wheezing
regularly at night and i am taking the medicine regularly. Is it safe to take Deriphyllin 150 during pregnancy,
If not what other safe medicine should i take. Please answer my question at the earliest.

Anita deriphylline during pregnancy will not harm dear but now that u r not relieved of symptom I would suggest using nebulization becos chronic cough and wheezing may not be great for the baby.u can also try montelukast to suppress ur symptoms
