Is It Safe To Take 1000mg Of Fish Oil With Omega Three For Dry Eyes?

Hi there. Forgive me for being ignorant. This is my first time to do this, normally I just google my question. Anyway, I was just informed by my eye doctor that the reason for my dry eyes is because It needs oil. So she said to take two pils of fish oil everyday and slowly increase it to three then to four pills a day. I am taking already 1000 mg of fish oil with omega three. Will this be safe for me?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are diagnosed with dry eyes.
There are many types of dry eyes and there are many causes for dry eyes also.

The accepted mode of treatment for dry eyes is substitution by tear drops called as artificial tear drops.
This is then most commonly practiced mode of treatment.

Vitamin A supplementation is required only in children and it is usually not advised in adults.

Thank you
