Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Amlodipine is given for high blood pressure and simvastatine is given lower cholesterol level.
Your doctor have discontinued these medicines because of some reasons. Now if your father blood pressure has increased then amlodipine can be given else there is no need. Simvastatin can be stopped but consult your doctor ASAP.
