Is It Safe To Ride Bicycle When Diagnosed With Pancreatitis?

Hi, My name is Srini. I have Chronic Pancreatitis since the past 15 years. The doctor performed an ERCP and placed a stent inside the pancreas. First in 2008 then replaced it in 2013 and replaced it again last week. I am very much interested in Cycling. Could you please tell me whether it is safe to ride cycles both short and long distances ? Or will it worsen my Pancreatitis ?

There is a complication in which there is displacement of the stent but according my knowledge your cycling wont be an preceding incident.You can cycle.Seek care immediately if Your bowel movements (BMs) are black and tarry.You are vomiting (throwing up) blood.You have shaking chills and a fever (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or 38 degrees Celsius).You have bad pain in the right upper area of your abdomen
