Hello thanks for asking from HCM

Xanax (ALPRAZOLAM) is benzodiazepine and is a brain depressant. Beer also contain about 6% of alcohol which is a brain depressant. You have taken 3 beers and are not having sleep. As per my opinion taking Xanax with beer will potentiate brain depressant action and may result cocktail phenomenon. This may even cause severe sedation and you should avoid xanax with beer. Consult a psychiatrist if you have problem of insomnia.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
