Is It Possible To Conceive After Surgery For Dermoid Ovarian Cyst?

Hi doc, i am 31 years old, 58 kgs., 5ft and 5inches tall. I had two times miscarriage...My doctor diagnosed through MRI that i have dermoid cyst in my left ovary. Is there any chances to be pregnant after surgery? How long it will take? More power. Regards..

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare magic. i ma Dr Ramadevi wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

How big is the dermoid cyst? During surgery they only remove the cyst and not the ovary. You can DEFINITELY get pregnant after the surgery.
If the cyst is small you can have key hole (Laparoscopy) surgery to remove the cyst. The procedure takes about 30-45 minutes.

You can plan pregnancy 2 months after the surgery.

You have not written details about the miscarriages. If the miscarriages were after 10 weeks of pregnancy you need to be tested for antiphospholipid antibodies.
I hope this is helpful.
