See here, Factor VIII deficiency cannot be caused only by genetic disorder. Even acquired forms of isolated Factor VIII deficiency is seen. Conditions which produce antibodies against Factor VIII like Hyperglobulinemic IgE syndromes, autoimmune disorders.
