Is It Normal To Have Spotting And Mild Pain Followed By Hysterectomy?

I had a full hysterectomy 10 days ago. I've felt fine, but yesterday woke up with spotting. I was concerned, however last night I passed a baseball sized blood and blood gushed out. This happened again about an hour later followed by mild pain. Today I'm spotting lightly and still have mild pain. Is this normal?

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well slight bleeding and spotting is common following hysterectomy....These can be the collected blood during the surgery....But if bleeding continues and the pain becomes intense, you need to consult your gynaecologist as early as possible....Also you need to keep your wound site clean...hope i was helpful to you.
