Is It Normal To Have Cramps And Late Periods After Unprotected Sex?

hello, i had sex everyday four days before i was suppose to get my period and yes it was unprotected but my period never showed up and i am now two weeks late i am having some cramps my nipples hurt really bad im tired more than normal and im also very moody and constantly hungry which is weird for me. what could this mean?

Hello, well from the history you have given, these symptoms could be either due to pregnancy or could be pre menustral symptoms, I would suggest you to do a urine pregnancy at home first to rule out pregnancy if your cycles are always regular. If the test turns out to be positive, then you can consult your gynaecologist for further management.Sometimes the urine pregnancy test may show faintly positive line or will not turn out to be positive, this is because of low levels of beta HCG in early weeks of gestation, then the diagnostic test is to do a serum beta HCG ( blood test ). If pregnancy is ruled out then these could be pre menustral symptoms.hope I was helpful to you.
