Is it normal to have burning perineum while on menstruation ?

last day I was in period of my menstruation and at my friend s home,when I woke up my perineum was a bit burning,I know this question is paranoid but I m just wondering if it was due to my menstrual pad or something?is it normal to have burning in perineum area while menstruation?

Most likely the pad that you used, must have caused the sensation in the perineal region.

so is skin chafing in perineum area a sign of rape by itself?or if I had been raped would I have felt the soreness inside of my vagina and that area?
