Is It Normal For An Ankle To Hurt In Cold Weather After It Has Healed From A Sprain?
I sprained my ankle pretty badly about 8 months ago. It s healed, except probably the range of motion isn t quite the same and feels just slightly tight sometimes relative to my other ankle. Is it common to have it hurt in cold weather? What should I do?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The mild pain in the winters is due to a decrease in the blood supply due to cold extremities. Mild post traumatic arthritis can also cause such a pain. This is normal. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
