Is It Dangerous If I Stuck My Finger With A Dirty Sewing Pin?

Hi, I accidentally stuck myself in my index finger with a sewing pin, 5 minutes ago. it was quite dirty since i used it to remove some crap from cracks between my keyboard, anyhow, I was wondering how dangerous it might be? I'm think anything like blood poisoning etc how scared/aware should I be, it was not very deep it just bleed a couple of drops and I put some alco gel on the wound within minutes

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, you are struck with the a dirty, and rusted pin. There is a possibility of the tetanus, infection, for that you can have a tetanus toxoid, injection as early as possible after the prick.
There is a possibility of an infection with a pus forming bacteria, like strepto, or stephylo coccal infection.There could also be a mixed infection with an anaerobic infection also.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, ornidazole, and supportive therapy.
