Is It A Matter Of Concern That The Blood Glucose Levels Have Receded Drastically From 325 To 200 After Taking Janumet?

I've been just diagnosed with diabities.My blood glus score was over 325 at the doc's office last Thursday..I weight about 212 lbs and Im about 5' 7" in height. Ive been placed on Janumet 500mg (1 pill per day) to see if this will helps with my illness. I've started really watching what I eat and cut back on all sodas.



I've started checking my blood score and it's been coming in at about 200 on Monday and Tues.. Today I checked it and it came in at 170 ...should I be alarmed ?

You just need to be happy. This evolution is favorable but you need to take care not to enter into low blood sugar level (hypoglycemia) which is more dangerous than high blood sugar. You need to take the drug after eating well. It is also advisable to always move with some cubes of table sugar and watch out for signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia: confusion, altered state of consciousness, visual disturbances, fast heart rate, sweating, hunger, shakiness and anxiety. Each time you have these symptoms, you just need to take like 2 cubes of sugar. it will help you.
