Is It A Matter Of Concern If The Ankle Having Screws Is Having Swelling, Pain At 5 Months Of Pregnancy?
Hi I had ankle surgery and had ten screws put in I have always had a little discomfort when I have been on it for some time. I am now 5 months pregnant and the ankle with no hardware is fine but the ankle w screws is swelling and causing pain. Is this cause for worry?

Yes the ankle screws causing pain is a cause of worry as it can be a sign of infection. I would advise you to go to a orthopaedic surgeon as they might need checkup and replacement. Also if you are needed to be started on high antibiotics then it can cause damage to your baby.
