Can Swelling And Pain Of Ankle After Suffering An Allergy From Wasps Harm The Pregnancy?

My wife is pregnant and allergic to wasps. She got stung yesterday in the ankle. Her ankle swelled up and she had a bit of a headache with fast heartbeat yesterday but seems ok today... still has the swelling and pain in ankle though. Can this effect the baby? Should we go to the emergency room?

Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic
I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
A wasp sting that occurs while a woman is pregnant is of no serious concern unless she has an allergy. The pregnancy is not at risk because of a sting. The sting should be treated at home as normal but if there is a concern it is best to seek medical advise from the doctor.
But still I will suggest as every pregnancy is precious you should visit an obstetrician. Thank you.
