Is Inpatient Program Required For Depression?

Hello! I am a female, looking for advice on depression suicide and cutting. I recently attempted suicide, and I am going to the emergency room tomorrow. Can you tell me what to expect at the psychological evaluation? And also, I have a family history of depression, I myself have been diagnosed with it, and I have recently attempted suicide, do you think I will be enrolled in their inpatient program for people like me?
