My neurologist just scheduled me for a angeogram. My dad had this procedure and had a stroke right when it was done. He was in terrible from that day forward. I don't want to have it done. he had scheduled a MRI and this a big shock for me to find out he wants this done. What would you recommend.
1.Its good to have MRA - MRI angiogram, which has less radiation and more detail study. 2.MR angiogram will help in detecting the vessel cabler, even volume measurements. 3.With the help of multi planner - different views can be done. 4.Reconstuctive 3d images for the vessels, with subtraction of rest of the structure 5.Angiogram is good in contrast delineation , but radiation which needs to think of, may be because of it it happened. Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query. Any thing to ask do not hesitate. Thank you.
