Is Guillain-barré Syndrome Curable?

Hi, My father is 62 years old, he got G.B.Syndrome. finished IVIG treatment and got discharged. He is doing physiotheraphy now. He is able to sit on his own. Is it 90% to 95% curable? He has too much weakness. He has both sugar and B.P. but both are under control. SO what food he can take to get recover soon?
