Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
Fluid on lungs has many causes and if not properly treated can be dangerous.
Common causes for this are
1. Congestive cardiac failure ( CCF )
2. Tuberculosis
3. Pneumonia
4. Cancer.
So first consult cardiologist and get done
1. Ecg
2. 2d echo to rule out CCF.
Consult pulmonologist and get done CT thorax to rule out tuberculosis, pneumonia and lung cancer.
In your case, CCF appears more. So better to consult cardiologist and rule out CCF .
