Is Feeling Of Louder Heartbeat With Pulse Being 32 Normal?
I am using iHealth Blood Pressure Wrist Monitor for measurements, and I am getting a reading of 127/86 with pulse 32 on the left wrist, and 144/86 33 on the right. I am on high blood pressure medications. Is my pulse too low, and sometimes i feel my heart beat very loud and sometimes i don t feel it when i touch my wrist. Should i be concern?
Hello. Welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Your pulse is actually extremely low to stay without any symptoms. I have doubts regarding that, because at pulse of 32 per min you should have some symptoms of giddiness, breathlessness, persistent palpitations.
Sometimes if you have a missed beats (premature beats occurs sometimes) the monitor can't detect that and show low pulse. So my advice to you is consult your doctor and via clinical examination and ecg he will easily detect if you have low pulse or not.
Some of the blood pressure tablets like metoprolol can cause low heart rate. So kindly give him detailed medicine history also.
Any heart rate below 50 must be considered. So, kindly confirm everything without delay.
Thank you. Have a nice day.
