Is Fatty Liver Grade 1 A Serious Problem?

Hi, My Liver was in 14.2 Cm Size and iam also having fatty liver problem Grade1. I had done Lab tests. My SGPT Reading is 54 against the normal 40 . My GGT reading is 64 against normal 60 and My alkaline phosphatase is 133 against 128. Hence Kindly tell me whether it was an serious problem and cure to get the normal position

I think that the clinical symptoms are more important than the lab test some times the test are not correlating with the clinical symptoms, here in your case nothing to worry right now but still you have to take care, avoid taking alcohol if your taking it, watch for clinical sign and symptoms, have nice day.

Dear sir

Fatty liver is a condition in which there will accumulation of fatty cells in the liver causing functional disturbences in the liver

It is commonly associated with persons with history of hypertriglycedemia and especially in obese patients

It is not very much serious if you recognise and treat the condition early. Some times liver enzymes are elevated. So you need to look for it

A course of statins and fibrates are required for a long time

Hepatotoxic drugs need to be stopped

Weight reduction is advised
