Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through the detailed history you have given. Yes, you are right. Possibility of diabetic neuropathy is more likely. Longstanding, uncontrolled diabetes causes nerve damage, muscle wasting, bone pain, etc. All these cause tingling, numbness, muscle pain, bone pain, low strength, etc. So first of all, strict control of diabetes is needed. Start Pregabalin and Methylcobalamin combination for neuropathy. Start calcium and vitamin D3 supplements. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
