Is Eye Inflammation Caused By Wearing Contact Lens?
Hi, I am Michelle.
Last Wednesday, I had redness and tearing of eye. When i visited the doctor told me, i had a left eye Cognitive. then after following up on the medication, my redness of eye have reduced...but on the 3rd when i woke up in the morning, i felt blurness of my left eye. so i went to specialist and the doctor told me that it is not eye cognitive but i have eye inflamation. I use contact lens and sometimes i just sleep with it. Can be the cause of eye inflamation? i asked my doctor and she told me it is not the cause. i am very worried that i will lose my vision. My doctor recommended me to use TobraDex for a week with every 3 hours of drops. i am very worried...please help me...

I really appreciate your concern, look nothing to loose if you stop using the contact lenses because this could be the possible near cause could be considered, second this could be viral conjunctivitis, (Adenovirus) keep the eye clean with artificial tear drops, the antihistamine eye drops will be the best, along with the anti inflammatory drugs, nothing to worry about this every thing will be fine soon have nice day.
