i was diagnosed with inflammation of both eyes. i was given FML 1 drop, 3x aday for 3 days. after 3 days i still have some discomfort and i do not want to continue this medication because of side effects, however, will cucumber relieve me of this inflammation? or should i continue with my FML med. I am having problem reading and watching tv. i am 76 yrs old and i have been taking CLARITIN for the past few months, would that be the cause of my eye inflammation?

Hello
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having sterile inflammation of the eye probably in the form of uveitis or scleritis. The treatment suggested by your doctor is in right direction and you need to continue it. Use of claritin is not a cause for eye inflammation.
If the inflammation is recurrent you need to consult your doctor for evaluation by investigations and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
