Is Ectopic Heart Beats Related To Hormonal Changes?
hi , i have been geting ectopic heart beats for years and am on propananol , but lately they are alot more before and after my period , i am 38 year old female , its getting me down and tearfull , i am on prozac and have been on them for years . the ectopic beats are all i think about day and night ,is there anything to stop these horrible things , can it be hormone realated ,, please help ....

hormones do have some effect but not this much.
Do you smoke or do any drugs.
Prozac has cardiac side, you can ask physician to change it, atleast temporarily and we can see the response.
Also these much are not normal, you should get yourself evaluated. Whether these vpc or something else. You will need ECG, echo to Find out the cause. These are precursor for some dangerous arrhythmia.
