Is Ear Popping A Serious Problem?

Hi, yesterday I accidentally hit my ear drum with a qtip while cleaning my ears. It wasn t a hard hit, more like a slight touch. No blood or anything has come out, but when I yawn it does a slight pop sound as if I am changing in elevations. Should this go away after a few days, or is it serious?

Hello
There may be a injury on the drum. My advice to you:
Keep your ear dry
Donot instill any drops
Avoid forceful blowing , coughing and sneezing.
Can start an antihistamine for 1 wk
Donot scratch your ear again in future.
