Is Difficulty In Walking Due To Spondylolisthesis?

I have Spondylolisthesis, grade 1 or 2. Lately I have had to walk with a cane around the house, and I notice an increasing difficulty in just walking (any distance at all). Also my flexibility in moving my legs is not there. Is this all due to the main Lumbar condition?

Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms are suggestive of spinal canal stenosis, probably related tot the spondylolisthesis.
For this reason, I would recommend performing a new lumbar spine MRI study and discussing with a spine surgeon about surgery, as a possible treatment option to help improve your condition.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes!
