Is Delayed Period Sign Of Pregnancy?
hello doctor,
My name is farzana. my last period date was 7th October and i had intercourse with my fiance at 13th(7th day) & 28th October(22nd day) from the starting date of my last period. I used to know that the danger period contonues 9th-20th day from the starting date of period. But i missed my period this time and i have been waiting for 15 days and its not happening. Am i pegnant or am i having some other problems?

While day 8 to day 18 is the most fertile period of the cycle, the rest of the days are not absolutely safe from pregnancy.
You need to get a urine pregnancy test done with an early morning sample.Alternatively you can opt for a serum Beta HCG test which is a blood test to detect pregnancy.
If the pregnancy test is negative,get a hormonal profile done along with test for thyroid and Prolactin done as missed periods can be due to hormonal imbalances.
