Hi im 22 normal delivery n my 1st child and cs on my 2nd daughter .now shes turning 6 months on sep.25. But i havent got my period back since i gave birth.. im fully breastfeed her for almost 4 months and then do mixfeeding for 2 days. It is usual for women that are breastfeeding to not get their periods for several months, so it might be something normal that you do not have your periods as yet. On the other hand, it might be advisable to have a pregnancy test to make completely sure. Sometimes women do not get their periods and are not aware that they might even be pregnant. If the pregnancy test comes out negative, you will need to consider measures to prevent pregnancy as very likely you will start to ovulate soon. You will need to talk with your doctor on the best options in your case, but progesterone only contraception is the one that does not interfere with breastfeeding.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
