Is Clopitab Or Clavix Safe For The Heart Condition?
my fathers age is 87 years. in the month of march he underwent a bypass surgery. with other medicines he is taking clopitab 150. before operation he was taking clavix as 150. he has been taking clavix since last ten years after a severe paralysis stroke.which is better clopitab or clavix?

Clopitab contains clopidogrel that belongs to the group of medications known as blood thinners or antiplatelet medications is used to prevent the formation of blood clots and reduce the risk of developing heart attack or stroke. You should keep taking this medication even if you feel better as stop taking this medication, may increase your risk of getting a heart attack or stroke. This medication should be taken at the same time each day. On the other hand, Clavix also contains clopidogrel as well as belongs to the same class and is used for the same purposes like Clopitab. So, both Clopitab and Clavix contains the same ingredient called clopidogrel and both are equally effective.
