Is Casting The Best Remedy For The Pain Due To Tennis Elbow?
My husband has suffered with tennis elbow for 15 months. He's followed his doctor treatment of rest, PT, PT exercises and has recently had 2 shots (blood drawn and platelets injected into elbow). He continues to have painly daily. We'd like to ask your opinion, we gained through another orthopedic doctor, regarding casting his arm. This doctor has had 100% success with casting the affected area. What are your thoughts? My email address is YYYY@YYYY

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Mukesh Chugh's Response
Hi Thanks for writing After going through your query,i have never heard of casting as a treatment. If am not incorrect in casting they will Immobilize the elbow joint for few weeks? My advice would be if possible you may think of surgery as a treatment option, if the suffering is too much. Hope this information suffices and I shall be glad to answer any further query. Take care and wish you good health Regards Dr.chugh http://bit.ly/drmchugh
